The Center for Geriatric Medicine provides a full range of family and internal medicine services in an outpatient setting for patients 60 years of age and older.  

Meet our expert physicians:

Kathy Brenneman, MD

Dr. Kathy Brenneman is a board certified internist and geriatrician.  Dr. Brenneman also earned her master’s degree in public health administration, and is a certified medical director for long-term care.  She is the Medical Director of the Center for Geriatric Medicine, and Medical Director of Carroll Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Dr. Brenneman has extensive experience in the care of the frail elderly with multiple complex medical problems, and also specializes in end-of-life care and bioethics.

John Campbell, MD

Dr. John Campbell is a board certified geriatrician.  In addition to primary care in the office and nursing home care, he provides consults for patients who already have an established internist or family practitioner.  Dr. Campbell draws upon his extensive experience and specialized geriatric training to help seniors with issues such as polypharmacy (over-medication), dementia, delirium, end-of-life depression, sleep disorders, frailty and falls.

Bindu Joseph, MD

Dr. Bindu Joseph is a board certified geriatrician, also certified in palliative care.  Previously in charge of a unit at Carroll Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for five years, Dr. Joseph now provides primary care focused on senior patients.  Her special areas of expertise include dementia, geriatric syndrome, wound care, and pain management.  Dr. Joseph strives to improve the function of her patients and their overall well-being.

Dionne Gay, MD

Dr. Dionne Gay has over 12 years of experience as a Navy Reserve Officer, serving as a family physician.  Her clinical work has focused on health maintenance, as well as acute care.  Dr. Gay has many years of experience working in long-term care facilities, and is active in teaching medical students.  Dr. Gay specializes in chronic disease management.

David Wilson, MD

Dr. David Wilson is a board certified geriatrician, who serves as an attending physician at Carroll Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.  A Captain in the US Navy Medical Corps, Dr. Wilson is dedicated to medical education.  He trains medical students and residents not only at Providence, but also serves as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences.
