Women’s Health Services
Whether you are a mother, wife, daughter, or just one of the women in your family, sometimes your responsibilities seem endless. That is the life of a woman. With so much at hand and taking care of everyone else, women sometimes tend to neglect their own routine health care which eventually leads to poor health and unwarranted health issues.
Providence Hospital offers a full range of women’s health and wellness services to help maintain the physical, mental, and spiritual health of every woman who walks through our doors. Providence understands the health concerns of today’s woman, including heart disease, thyroid disease, breast health, obstetrics or maternity, gynecological , diabetes, and obesity.
Some other health conditions women may want to consider include:
- Bladder
- Fibroid
- Cancers (colon, ovarian, breast, vaginal, vulvar)
- Depression
- Osteoporosis
- Oral health
- Smoking
- Thyroid disease
Getting regular checkups and screenings are very important to detecting any health issues in its early stages and allow more options for treatment. Many of these services are available through Providence physicians, at the hospital, and also at our off-campus primary care centers including Perry Family Health Center and Fort Lincoln Family Medicine Center.
