Dr. Daniel Lahr is a fellowship-trained foot and ankle orthopaedic surgeon. Early in his career he served as assistant team physician for the Duke University Men’s Football, Basketball, Lacrosse and Baseball teams. In addition, he has provided care to several olympians, including gymnasts. Dr. Lahr is one of the few surgeons in the Washington, D.C. metro area using the STAR™ Ankle System. The System restores mobility to the ankle joint while significantly reducing pain.

Dr. Anthony Rankin is Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at Providence Hospital, having served in this position since 1977. He specializes in general orthopaedics and joint replacement, using the latest techniques for diagnosis and treatment. His expertise is valued by other orthopaedic surgeons who refer their patients from around the country to his Second Opinion Program. Dr. Rankin was also the first African American President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

Dr. Marc Rankin is fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, including the use of the latest arthoscopic techniques for shoulder and knee injuries. He utilizes the most advanced treatments for sports injuries, including platelet-rich plasma injections and total joint reconstruction surgery. Dr. Rankin has gained acclaim for performing meniscal transplants, in which the damaged meniscus of the knee is replaced with donor cartilage.

Dr. Selya earned his degree in medicine from Moscow Medical and Dental School in Russia. He is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and fellowship-trained in spine surgery. Dr. Selya has also completed a fellowship in reconstructive and Ilizarov surgery.

Dr. Gautam Siram is Board certified in general orthopaedics and adult reconstructive surgery. He earned his degree in medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, NY and completed his residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Siram also completed a fellowship at Anderson Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction in Mount Vernon, VA. He is a fellowship-trained hip and knee reconstructive surgeon, highly-skilled in utilizing minimally invasive procedures and the most current treatments to care for his patients' orthopaedic and related medical conditions. He works with each patient to help them understand the options available to them so that they can make the most informed healthcare decisions. His areas of interest include partial and total hip & knee replacement, complex hip & knee revision, and adult orthopaedic reconstruction. Dr. Siram says, "My primary goal is to provide excellent patient-centered care in a compassionate and respectful manner"

Dr. Craig Thomas is a fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon. He is highly skilled in both traditional and minimally invasive techniques, including hip resurfacing and the anterior approach for total hip reconstruction. Dr. Thomas is recognized for his experience utilizing the Canady Viera Hybrid Plasma Scalpel™, which results in minimal blood loss, less pain and a faster recovery.

Dr. Robert Wilson is an experienced, fellowship-trained hand, elbow, shoulder and upper extremity surgeon, who previously served as Chief of Hand Surgery at Howard University for ten years. He remains at the forefront of his specialty with his ability to perform total wrist replacement surgery. In selected cases, this procedure can be an option for painful arthritis that doesn’t respond to other treatments.
