Dr. E. Rankin Named as Interim Chief Medical Officer of Providence Hospital
Washington, District of Columbia-Dr. E. Anthony Rankin will assume the position of Interim Chief Medical Officer at Providence Hospital effective June 14, 2013. He will replace Dr. Raymond Cox who has accepted the position of CEO at The Volunteers in Medicine Clinic, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Washington, District of Columbia—Providence Hospital will dedicate and open the E. Anthony Rankin Pavilion in honor of Dr. Rankin on July 10, 2012, at 5:45 pm.
A standard inpatient unit with semi-private rooms is now a state of the art orthopaedic unit is a state- of- the- art facility with 15 private rooms, flat screen televisions, modern décor and open communal areas to promote a culture of early mobility and group interaction. The Pavilion will be staffed by a team of exceptional orthopeadic surgeons and dedicated staff who are experts in their fields. The goal of the E. Anthony Rankin Pavilion is to provide an environment that emphasizes wellness and maximizes patient recovery efforts.
