We specialize in promoting optimum cardiopulmonary function and health and provide diagnostic testing for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of pulmonary abnormalities such as Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis, Restrictive Lung Disease and COPD. Our Services include:

  • Arterial Blood Gas Analysis (ABG’s)
  • Methacholine Challenge / Bronchial Provocation Studies
  • Plethysmography
  • Pre and Post Bronchodilators
  • Spirometry Testing
  • Stress Testing

Our experienced respiratory care staff includes Board Certified Pulmonologists and Intensivists, licensed Respiratory Care Practitioners, and Respiratory Therapists who are credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care. The team of dedicated respiratory staff prevents, identifies, and treats acute or chronic cardiopulmonary system dysfunction for all patients from older adults to newborns in the Special Care Nursery.

Providence utilizes state-of-the-art ventilatory support and modality equipment to ensure exceptional care for all patients. Services offered include:

  • Airway Management
  • Electrocardiograms
  • Emergency Resuscitation
  • Oxygen and Humidity Therapy
  • Ventilator Support and Management

Outpatient services at the Respiratory Care Department are available Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. Pulmonary Functions services are available Monday - Friday 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
