Primary Stroke Center

The Primary Stroke Center at Providence is certified by The Joint Commission, following the best practices for stroke patients by providing the most efficient, specialized care in the area. Stroke patients who come to Providence Hospital are provided advanced care and support to achieve a full recovery and minimize the risk of another stroke through lifestyle changes.

Mammography

Providence Hospital’s Mammography Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology and certified by the Food and Drug Administration.

Cancer

The Commission on Cancer acknowledged Providence Hospital’s Cancer Program with its Approval Award for Three Years with Commendation as a Teaching Cancer Program. Three years with Commendation is awarded when the program complies with all standards and receives a commendation rating for one or more of the eligible standards. Facilities receiving this Approval Award at the time of survey will be evaluated for eligibility to receive the Commission on Cancer Outstanding Achievement Award.
