The Teaching Service consists of the following:
- Intensive Care Unit, including surgical patients as well as medical patients.
- Coronary Care Unit.
- General Medical Services.
- Subspecialty Services.
- Ambulatory Services.
- Electives (outside of Providence Hospital).
Rotations for Internal Medicine Residents
PGY1

- Medical Subspecialties and Consultations.
- Ambulatory Electives.
- Emergency Room Consultations.
- Intensive Care & Coronary Care Units.

- Geriatrics
Residents rotating from other services or hospitals will have their rotations arranged in advance by their respective program directors.
