During your visit, we ask that you comply with our smoke-free policy and respect the privacy and comfort of our patients.

Visiting Hours and Information

Visiting hours are from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. 

ICU visiting hours are from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

To protect the health and safety of our patients, guests, and associates, children under 13 are not permitted in patient care areas.  Special arrangements may be made through the Nursing Supervisor.  Please contact (202) 269-7000 to reach the Nursing Supervisor.

Patient Compliments or Complaints

We welcome all feedback.  Compliments or complaints should be directed to the Patient Relations office via telephone, in writing, on-line, or in person.  Your satisfaction is very important to us!

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

World’s Fare Cafeteria offers a wide variety of hot and cold selections, plus a salad bar, soups, fresh fruit, and daily chef specials.  The cafeteria is located on the first floor next to the elevators, and is open seven days a week.

Meal hours:

Breakfast     7:30 am - 10:00 am

Lunch        11:00 am - 3:00 pm

Dinner         4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Lobby Coffee Bar: Serving coffee, tea, juices, pastries, cold sandwiches, and other snacks, the coffee bar is located in the main lobby on the ground floor.  Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm (excluding holidays).

Cashier

Make your payments at the Cashier office while you are here. The cashier is located on the ground floor.  Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.  Payments can also be made online by clicking here. 

Chapel

Our chapel, located on first floor, is open 24 hours a day to people of all faiths for reading, meditation and prayer.

Mass Schedule

Sunday: 8:30 am & 12 Noon
Monday - Friday: 6:25 am & 12 Noon

Mass from the Hospital Chapel is televised on Channel 6 in all patient room

Gift Shop

Lori's Gift Shop, located on the ground floor, and has toiletries for patients, cards, gifts, balloons, snacks, reading materials, and more. Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 9:00 pm, and Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm.

Healing Garden

Located directly adjacent to the main entrance of the hospital, the healing garden offers a serene place for peace, hope, and healing to patients, families and staff.  All are welcome to visit the garden to rest, meditate, or simply enjoy the sights and sounds of nature.

Parking is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
