Providence Hospital Patient Access is designed to minimize the admitting and registration process for you to receive the needed medical services.
Financial Information and Assistance
Patient Financial Counselors will work with you on any payment issues and are available on-site or by phone to provide assistance. Please ask the Financial Counselors for information on:
Providence Hospital Financial Assistance providing special discounts to patients with low income or limited assets.
Payment Plans with short-term, no interest schedules.
Uninsured Patient Discounts, applied to all patient who are uninsured.
Prompt Pay Discounts, providing an additional 10 percent off for payment in full within thirty (30) days of billing.
Referrals to community services for financial and social support programs for the patient and family.

Patient Access Hours of Operations & Contact Information
6:30 am to 11:30 pm seven days a week Patient Access Department Arrival Time for Patient Access Process Please arrive 30 minutes before the time of your service to complete the necessary paper work. For scheduled services, please visit the Information Desk for directions to location of service. Minimum Required Documents at Patient Access Patient Access Locations If the service you are to receive is not listed below, please go to the Main Registration located on the Ground Floor across from the gift shop. Otherwise, please go directly to the service location listed below. Main Registration - Ground Floor Routine Diagnostic Services - Laboratory and Radiology Services Surgery Registration - 1st Floor Mammography & Wellness Center Registration – 3rd Floor Mammography and Breast Imaging Services, Bone Density Services, Wellness Physicals and Nutritional Counseling. Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Registration - Ground Floor Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy Emergency Room Registration - Ground Floor, Emergency Room Hours of Operation: 24 hours per day seven days per week Pre-authorization Process For questions about your coverage or the authorization requirements of your insurance plan, please contact your insurance plan via the phone number listed on the card or their website. Your insurance may require pre-authorization prior to receiving service. Pre-admission process For scheduled medical services, you may be contacted prior to day of service to collect your insurance and demographic information. This will assist Providence Hospital in verifying your insurance coverage and confirming required pre-authorization from your insurance plan. Patient Valuables We recommend leaving your valuables at home or with a family member or friend. If necessary, the Patient Access staff will secure your valuables in a hospital safe during your hospital stay.
