CHOICES Abstinence Program
Providence Hospital 's CHOICES Program is an innovative abstinence program committed to changing the way unmarried teens think and feel about saving sex for marriage. CHOICES offers teens a safe, trustworthy place to get accurate answers to their sexual questions and encouragement to abstain from health and other risks associated with teen sexual activity. Through group sessions and local community outreach, CHOICES equips teens to be more comfortable, confident and convincing to their peers about avoiding unmarried teen sex.
CHOICES provides the following resources:
- local community outreach
- training seminars for youth leaders
- library of top-notch abstinence resources
- group presentations to adults
- vow ceremony support to local groups
- counseling for teens and parents

Teen Parenting Program
The Teen Parenting Program provides support to adolescents during pregnancy and for the first year of their child's life. The program's goal is to help the youth we serve make better CHOICES and have improved outcomes in all areas of their lives. Clients are provided direct support, information, education and referrals to other community resources. We seek to help clients make the transition from "teens to parents."
