Rehabilitative Services offer comprehensive, individualized regimens tailored to patients' lifestyles, as well as their therapeutic needs. Physical Therapists use a combination of techniques and agents such as restorative exercises, gait training, wound care, thermotherapy, and electrotherapy to correct a variety of disorders. Through individual consultation and evaluation, Speech and Language Pathologists assist patients with communication difficulties, such as slurred speech, voice disorders, dysphasia, and/or delayed speech and language development. Patients of all ages with physical, neurological, cognitive, or psychosocial impairments are treated by Occupational Therapists. With their help, patients learn to perform skills that will improve their ability to function in their own environments.
