Providence's emergency department staff provide this state-of-the-art medical care in an environment that recognizes the importance of every patient's emotional and spiritual, as well as physical, well-being.
Using state-of-the-art patient tracking system, staff enter patient data into the medical record right at the bedside and thus can maintain ongoing timely and accurate dosage, drug interaction and other pertinent information - anywhere in the E.R. - all at the touch of a button, from the moment care is initiated until time of discharge.
The Emergency Department is divided into two areas; Side A treats urgent care and Side B , a separate ambulatory center, treats patients with less acute needs. Side A is open 24-hours daily and Side B is open daily from 8am to 12pm.
