Providence Hospital has been serving the national capital area since 1861, making it the longest operating hospital in the region. Its dedication to patient and the community is its mission and purpose.
You too can share in and support Providence Hospital’s mission. You can support Providence with a charitable donation, by volunteering some of your time, or even by your donating blood.
Charitable Donations
Providence Hospital is a not-for-profit hospital and is dedicated to providing health care for all who come through its doors regardless of race, religion or economic status. The Hospital's programs provided over $25 million in community benefit last year, including $19.2 million in charity medical care. Because of our dedication to serving those who may be less fortunate, charitable contributions are necessary to sustaining Providence’s mission.
