Message from the Executive Vice President
Providence Hospital has been privileged to serve the greater Washington, DC community for
over 145 years, and also has been honored by the
faithful philanthropic support of thousands of donors.
Gifts from our donors have brought hope to men and women seeking to overcome addiction, have helped young families bring their first children into the world amidst joy and love, and have comforted the dying and their loved ones through the last hours of life. Your support has encouraged teens to delay sexual activity until marriage, has provided live-saving monitoring equipment for our sickest cardiac and critical care patients and has encouraged our hard working nurses to re-ignite the spirit of caring that brought them to the nursing profession.
If you are not yet a member of the Providence family of donors, please accept this invitation to join this caring group of visionaries who believe that we can achieve healthcare that works, healthcare that is safe, and healthcare that leaves no one behind in our community.
No one could measure the good your donations will accomplish - nor could we thank you adequately for your generosity! So much can be done for our patients and for the community through your gifts: medical education for our doctors, breast cancer and prostate screening for women and men at risk, diabetes education, social services for our neediest emergency room patents, prenatal vitamins for poor mothers, special care for the frail elderly - every area of life can be touched by your goodness.
Thank you for considering a gift through Providence Health Foundation. For those of you who are already Providence donors, thank you for what you have already done, and continue to do, for our patients!
