Carroll Manor has both subacute/skilled care beds and long term care beds.
If you or your family member receives Medicare Part A benefits and
you have been in the hospital for 3 nights in the past 30 days or
you have private insurance that covers subacute/skilled care, you may be eligible
for subacute/skilled care at Carroll Manor.
If you or your family member is in the hospital, you can speak with your Social Worker/discharge planner regarding subacute/skilled services at Carroll Manor. Your Social Worker or discharge planner will refer you to Carroll Manor. If you have been discharged home and feel you may need in-patient subacute/skilled care, you can contact the Admissions office at (202) 269-7804.
Medicare does not cover long-term care. You must either pay privately or receive D.C. Medicaid. If you wish to discuss long term care and/or receive an application for Carroll Manor, please call the Admissions office at (202) 269-7804.
Carroll Manor also has a special care Alzheimer's Unit. This unit is specifically for persons with Alzheimer's who require a special and safe environment. The Admissions office will be glad to discuss your specific needs.
