What is Pastoral Care?
Our ministry is to promote the spiritual well being of our residents.
We desire to be channels of support for you and your family.
How is Pastoral Care provided?
Initially a member of Pastoral Care Department visits each resident as soon as possible after admission to complete a Spiritual Assessment Sheet, answer any questions and contact his or her home church if so desired.
Morning and evening prayer is offered daily throughout the facility via the Public Address System.
Mass is offered daily in our Chapel at 11:00am. All are welcome.
The Eucharist (Holy Communion) is offered to our Catholic residents, who are unable to come to the Chapel, in their rooms on a regular basis.
Prayer services, scripture reading and discussion, religious videos,
and services by various denominations are available for all residents.
These are posted for your convenience in the monthly calendar of activities.
Informal visits from the Pastoral Care staff are made daily to each floor.
Clergy of all Faiths are welcome and encourage to visit their members.
Our chapel, located on the lobby level near the Information Desk, is open 24 hours a day for anyone who would like a quiet place to talk and list to the Lord.
Closed circuit TV, Channel 21, transmits the chapel 24 hours a day.
Sound is provided whenever any type of service is being conducted.
The Pastoral Care staff seeks to meet the spiritual needs of all our residents, including personal counseling for residents and their families at any time during your stay with us.
Ask staff members to contact us for you whenever you wish a Pastoral Care staff member’s presence.
A Book of Prayer Intentions can be found on the table at the entrance to the Chapel.
The intentions written in this book are remember each day at Mass.
